The 
                    Pittsburgh Pirates and Brooklyn Superbas will play a meaningless 
                    game tomorrow, as the Pirates won the Pennant today, their 
                    second in a row. The Pirates knocked off Philadelphia 9-8 
                    as 3B Tommy Leach hit the game winning single in the bottom 
                    of the 9th.
                  
Over 
                    in the American League it is still anyones game. Baltimore 
                    kept their magical season going by scoring 8 runs in the 9th 
                    to beat Detroit 13-7, eliminating Detroit from contention. 
                    The Chicago White Sox also won their game, a 4-2 victory over 
                    Washington. Philadelphia has fallen off the pace, as they 
                    lost 5-1 against Boston to fall one game behind Chicago and 
                    Baltimore. 
                  
Philadelphia 
                    and Chicago will play each other in Chicago to finish the 
                    season. Philadelphia has Bill Bernhard (22-13, 2.49 ERA) on 
                    the mound while Chicago will look to Clark Griffith (23-12, 
                    2.26 ERA) in what is easily the most anticipated regular season 
                    game in league history.
                  
The 
                    Orioles host the Washington Senators to finish out their season, 
                    as they will throw Stan Yearkes on the mound (17-13, 3.49 
                    ERA) against Washington's Bill Carrick (14-20, 3.78 ERA).
