I spent an enjoyable two and a half months with Amanda and her roomate Carla. The food was good, the sleeping arangments were good and the entertainment was real good. But draft day is approaching and I have to move out soon. So after one final night of fun I move out and lodge up in the Sheraton the only five star hotel around here. I'm gonna get a signing bonus and I won't have to pay until I move out, and by that time I'll be drafted and have the money to pay for the bill. So why not live in the lap of luxury for a bit. I stay at the hotel for 5 days, work out at the gym have a little fun with a few of the ladies...just pass time.

But finally draft day rolls around. I get up at 5'o Clock and take a run around the block, to release my pent up energy. No good. I take a swim, Still no good. I decide to give up and I go to the lobby and turn on one of the laptops that the hotel has there. I go to Baseball America.com and check out my scouting sheet.

Aparajit Pandey, or Silver as he is better known as, is a hitter pure and simple. He can hit for avg. but will probably never win that batting title. His best seasons will probably see him hit around .315 to .320. hes got fair Gap and homerun power, but notihng explosive. Expect him to hit 20 homers, 25 doubles a year. He knows how to take a walk and when hes at his peak he'll take 80-90 a year. His defense is ok, but nothing sparkling and he cannot run for crap. He'd have a hard time getting to first on a ball hit into Triples Alley at Pac Bell park. If hes able to steal more than 1 base per season then I will be greatly surprised. he has no weakness against lefties, batting the same against Righties and Lefties.

Hes a fairly intelligent youth, Durable and Charismatic. Not a lot of natural strength but hes a hard worker, going to the gym 4-5 times a week in his high school. Personality type is that of a self-promoter. Cocky and Self-Confident.

Overall, he has the personality to get into the Majors and the work ethic and intelligence to stay there. He might be an all-star at some time in his career, but unless he spends his career at Coors or Arlington there is no chance of him being a HoF.

So I can't be a HoFer, huh? Well I'll show those idiots.
