Post And the Official Scorer was fired the next day...

My #4 starter just pitched the game of his life... having faced the minimum over 7.2 Innings (he walked two but both batters were erased on double plays)... the #6 batter hits a grounder to the pitcher; so I think cool, he's through another inning.... but no he throws it away!!!!

At this point, I cringe, because knowing OOTP4's tendency on any throwing error to score a hit and an error, I know what's coming... yup the pitcher loses his no-no as the grounder is scored a hit and an error. Needless to say when my pitcher polished off the next batter and set the side down in order in the 9th I wasn't happy he lost the no no... (almost to the point of breaking out the old editor and giving the pitcher a no-no manually.... so the official game log will be wrong... at the end of the season no one will know <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> )

Looks like my scorer (it was my home park) doesn't understand that in a no hitter it has to be a clean hit to break it up.. needless to say he was fired within a few minutes of game end.

In case someone cares here is the box score (*note I will be editing this, I've decided the pitcher deserves the No Hitter so I'm giving him credit):
