OK, here's the deal... since my first file crashed, I'm starting over... I reloaded the CBL1.3 roster set yet again and am starting my quest to get the Red Sox to a World Series title from the beginning!!

The Boston owner is still classified as a "Horror -- uncontrollable" which I love... The fan interest jumped to 90 for this one...

I got greedy and went after U. Urbina from the free agent pool, but realized my signing of him to Boston depleted all my money for coaches and scouts. Plus I felt guilty for "cheating" a bit, so I traded Urbina and N. Bierbrodt to Florida for LHP Tommy Phelps, a 3-star reliever who will start in AAA. I also picked up MR Scott Sauerbeck from the free agent market, something I did in the first attempt as well...

The Japan series between New York and Tampa Bay went A LOT differently -- A-Rod, as mentioned above, went hitless (maybe it was the sushi after all!!) and Gary Sheffield didn't have an eight-RBI game... The teams split their series, with Tampa winning game two 2-0 on a three-hitter!! I don't mind that revision to history...

OK, here goes try number two... Go Sox!!
