From what I understand SkyDog is a very big player in the sports simulation genre. Getting a good (p)review from him is like hitting the jackpot because a LOT of people are going to read, trust, and base their decision to buy on what he says.
Making a 15 year old who spends all day and all night playing OOTP and knows it inside and out but has no rep in the industry (EDIT: I'm not at all thinking of anyone in particular) a previewer is not going to help as much as someone like SkyDog will.
EDIT: That said, SD should know what's new and what's not if he's going to write a (p)review.
Unlike Jonah though, he's already edited his work after being corrected.
