Al Greenfield (8-8-1) gets a second chance at the upper level of the middleweight division by becoming the first LBA fighter to fight his way out of the club ranks.

Greenfield dropped to (1-6) and into the club ranks on 04-29-1901. With an 8th round KO of Geoffrey Thorne (5-9-1) he evened out his record and moved back up on 05-15-1903. He spent 2 years and 17 days in the club division and went (7-2-1). He won 4 straight fights and hasn't lost since Marchj of 1902.
