Three title fights in 1904 (sorry Javier, Herrera's # hasn't come up yet!)

HW - Jack Johnson drew a 10-25 ranked fighter and will take on #20 Billy Smith, who is actually 11-4.

FW - Jimmy Briggs drew a 6-10 fighter and will take on Billy Whistler in what could be an all-time lowest rated championship fight ever. a 5 vs a 3. There are only 8 fw's ranked and Whistler is #6 on the PP rankings ... he is on 2-4-1 but has won his last 2 fights including an upset ofver LW Jack McAuliffe. Although Jack was DQ'd in that fight.

BW - Terry McGovern drew the top ranked fighter scheduled to fight this month and that was #3 George Dixon who is 9-3. McGovern KO8 Dixon in the original BW Title fight on 11-3-1902.
