Pitcher's "stuff"

There are over 30 pages of topics, and I'm too tired to try to scroll through them all to find this topic.

I imported 1931 rosters and started managing the Philadelphia A's. I noticed while using Eddie Rommel that the "stuff" ratings of the pitchers are very low. Rommel had a 1, Lefty Grove had a 41, and Lefty Gomez from the Yankees had a 46. I understand that Rommel only pitched until 1932 and he was 32 years old and on his way out, but Grove and Gomez were the premier pitchers of that day. And even so, he still pitched 118 innings and had a 2.97 ERA. I'm thinking this rating may be the reason why Grove got tagged for 7 runs in one inning for me yesterday and may also be the reason people are complaining about 11-10 game scores. Any thoughts from anyone??
