I'm not sure I'd rank him ahead of Ruth yet (even at this pace, he'll have 4 Ruthian seasons on top of a dozen MVP-type seasons while Ruth had...well, a Ruthian-sized pile of Ruthian seasons) but what he's doing is all the more impressive considering a.) he's doing this in a similar run environment to ruth (if someone would like to figure this out be my guest, I'm guessing the huge disparity in park factors would balance out the ever so slight advantage in league R/G) and b.) in a game that's harder to dominate.
