16 team, 160 game schedule converted from Front Page Sports: Baseball Pro

16 teams, 8 teams per league, 1 division per league

Games:
160
Length: 182 days (26 weeks)
Interleague: Yes
Format: Balanced, with some interleague
16 games against each of the 7 other teams in the league (16 x 7 = 112 games)
6 games against each of the 8 teams in the other league (6 x 8 = 48 games)

Year starts on: Wednesday
Season opens: April 7 (Monday)
Season closes: Oct. 5 (Sunday)
All-Star Game: July 15 (Tuesday)

NOTE: The All-Star Game is not entered in the file; if you wish to have the game you will need to add it manually after you import the schedule.

Here is another conversion of a schedule found in Sierra's "Front Page Sports: Baseball Pro '98" game. The original version was actually for a 16 team league with two 8 team divisions, but since a team only plays a single series at home and away against each opponent in the other division, it seemed more suited to a two 8 team league scenario.

No doubleheaders in it of course, and off days are pretty much limited to Mondays and Thursdays. There may be cases where teams exceed the 20 days of play in a row rule, I can't say for sure there aren't. It's still a good schedule though, particularly for those looking for some interleague action with a two 8 team league alignment.

Start times have been set as follows: all home openers, Saturday games in April, May, and September, and Sunday games have been set as day games beginning at 1 p.m. All other games have been set as night games beginning at 7 p.m.

The schedule was set originally for 2003, so the year starts on value is Wednesday.
