OK, this will be a brief one, since I don't have much time and didn't get many pictures. Looking over the D-backs roster, it is not surprising that they have the worst record in baseball.
As for the game, the Astros jumped out on Arizona starter Edgar Gonzalez quickly. Coming into the game, Gonzalez had an ERA of over 12 and had given up over 2 H/IP in 8 IP. Amazingly, his numbers actually looked
worse after the game. The hits kept a coming against D-back knuckleballer Steve Sparks, and Houston was up 10-0 before I knew it. Adam Everett hit a pair of HR, and Bagwell & Kent each hit a long ball.
I started the game on the Astros side and got my first decent pic of Andy Pettitte on the season. Just after this picture, Nolan Ryan totally stiffed me for an autograph, and I didn't even get a picture of him.
