ATLANTA - Jeff Frost's 409-foot blast off Douglas Agan in the 6th sealed the deal as the Western All-Stars defeated the East, 8 to 5. Frost, 2-4 with the two-run shot, was named the game's MVP. Homers by Bill Danner and Brian Gray kept things close, but a six-run 3rd inning, keyed by Matt Wille's two-run double off loser Joe Melton, proved decisive for the West. Steven Mackay earned the win, while Alex Yardley, Bobby White and Chase Kirkham combined for four scoreless innings of relief to finish off the Eastern squad.
