JACKSONVILLE - John Foster's leadoff triple sparked a four-run 4th inning as the Eastern All-Stars defeated the West, 6-2, at Humana Park. Scott Heyer, Darrell Shehan, Jeff Hickox and Dave Hoffman each hit RBI singles in the East's big inning. Richard Safford's pinch-hit homer off Sam White in the 6th earned him the game's MVP honors. Keith Ward's three perfect innings were wasted, while Tyler Scott's two-run triple in the 6th plated the West's only runs.
