Thanks Vris. I think the only thing that could slow me down is getting impatient and jumping into a manager spot earlier than planned.

Both pennants are still up for grabs with only two days remaining in the second season of the Confederate Baseball Association!
Norfolk is clinging to a one-game lead in the East, but the Clippers have dropped their last four while the surprising Tampa Tomahawks have won eight of their last nine, including a sweep of Miami to dash the Meteors' playoff hopes. Tampa's resurgence has been highlighted by LF Bill Danner's (.331, 35 HR, 93 RBI, 103 R, 128 BB) twenty-game hitting streak through September 20 and SP Dave Haskell's (17-12, 2.44, 216 K in 236 1/3 IP) 1.59 ERA in the past month. Norfolk hosts lowly Carolina while Tampa visits Miami for the final two games of the year.
In the West, Dallas has surged past San Antonio to take a two-game lead with two to play. Drifters RF Stephen Delisle (.363, 13 HR, 84 RBI, 93 R, 23 2Bs) has been red-hot, hitting 11 for 20 (.550) with 3 HR and 9 RBI in his last five games. Though the Missions have won their last four, they'll need two more over Houston plus two losses by Dallas to New Orleans in order to force a one-game playoff.
