I have a case of 2 young players in the minors that were waived by the AI. Neither was in the majors, neither has a major league contract, neither was on the 40 man, and it is not passed the trading deadline. Why in the world were they waived? Surely the AI is not "judging trade interest".

Also, if a player in the bigs is waived and claimed, he must go to the majors of the claiming team, right?
