The regular season draws to a close with 8 deities leading their teams into the playoffs, while 18 other deities go home. In the Continental League, Zulu uKqili probably swayed a few MVP ballots his way as he wins the Triple Crown. His 94 Home Runs and 207 RBI were well in front of any other competitors, but his BA of .4858 just edged Tekkeitsertok's .4857. uKqili also led the Continental League in Runs Scored (228) and was second in OPS (1.718). While he did post the best numbers in the CL, Norfolk finished at 68-94, 4th place in their division - so he will be watching from home.
The United League MVP voting should be much more interesting, with Norse God Odin likely getting the nod. His 95 home runs were tied with Ometeotl for the DCL lead and his 229 RBI were 13 higher than Mohammed's 216. However, Odin will also be spending the post-season at home as Gadsden finished 73-89, 5th place in their division.
