Sorry...nothing new to give you with this fight, just a refight between a couple guys we met earlier in this replay.

Rudy Brown Holliday – HW (2-2-0) vs. Bill Hardney – HW (4-1-1)
These two fought a week earlier in this same city with Hardney taking a 6 round UD. Hilites of that fight can be seen earlier in this 1967 replay along with both fighters ratings. In boxrec. There’s a ? as to what the length of this fight is. Hardney wins another decision as he did in their first fight in 1967. I would assume this fight would have been 6 rounds also. Can’t see any reason why it would be otherwise.
Our 2nd replay of 1967 between these two fighters is much the same as the first fight. Hardney controls most of the action throughout the fight landing just enough punches here and there to slowing outscore Holliday. Outscoring he needed to do as neither fighter exhibited much punching prowess to send anyone down for a 10 count. In the end it was another unanimous decision for Hardney just as in our first replay. The scores being 58-56, 59-55, 59-55.
