Rakestraw Wins Player of the Week Award

(single space) pitcher Mark Rakestraw had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him American League Player of the Week. Rakestraw was overpowering all week long, going 2-0 with an ERA of 2.25. Along the way he struck out 2 in 12 innings. (etc. for the NL guy)

Rakestraw plays for the Baltimore Orioles, the first team listed in the AL East in a 32-team custom league (5-6-5 x2) with all generated players.
