Sorry to come in and point out a few more typos - really, your work compiling this is quite appreciated!
On 6/12 there is one line 133,7,30,4 that should be 163,7,30,4
Likewise on 8/27 there are several lines beginning with 269 that should instead begin with 239.
I only found those things running the schedule through the same process I have used helping LGO with the historical schedules.
One thing to throw out for discussion is having the now Washington franchise taking the same ID number in the file as Montreal would have had. On one hand that is perfect if all a person does is take a league just through 2004 and simply on the Team Setup screen for the franchise changing the name from Montreal to Washington.
The historical schedules are all set up with the teams in alphabetical order by city name within each division, but to get the team ID numbers within the game to rearrange to fit that scheme in this case one would need to go under Edit League Structure and do something trivial like switch the now Washington franchise with itself. Then rather than being #17 it would be #19, with NYN & PHI both bumping up one slot from #18 & #19 to #17 & #18. Perhaps a version of the file with the team ID numbers changed like that could also be made.
Does that make sense?
