HOO-RA FOR CLEVELAND!

Cleveland (AP) - There must be something in the Ohio water as Cleveland becomes the second team to sign a second deity to their team, reaching an agreement with free agent first baseman Ra on an enormous 6-year, $174 million dollar contract.

The Egyptian Sun God will hit clean-up behind incumbent deity Enlil on a team that won the World Series in 3005 and instantly vaults Cleveland to the top of the DCL Power Rankings. Cleveland has missed out on the playoffs since winning the title in 3005, but with two impressive deities in the line-up, they should return to the post-season with ease.

"We will march this team through all opponents and will not stop until we reach the promised land," proclaimed Ra, "The Sumerian God and I will not stop until all who stand before us have been felled and the World Series trophy is in our hands."

Ra becomes the highest paid player in DCL history as Cleveland's payroll skyrockets to the top of the list at $113 million. Cleveland is banking on increased revenue from playoffs and increased attendance and merchandising as they only pulled in just under $97 million dollars last year. If something should backfire in Cleveland, they may be in some serious trouble.

Ra has hit 4 cycles, won the Player of the Week 9 times, Batter of the Month twice, 4 Golden Gloves and features a career average of .435 with 488 HRs and 1136 RBI. Ra's best year was 3006, when he hit .480 with 91 HRs and 199 RBI.
