This tough customer and trial horse immigrated from Hungary to the U.S. and fought out of P.T. Barnum's hometown in the Great State of Connecticut. He lost on points to Jersey Joe Walcott, Al Gainer, Buck Everett and Tony Shucco. Al put in a good effort against Tony Galento in 1935 but fell victem to "Two Ton's" left hook in the tenth.
