Different Day Same Story, Blue Claws blank by Washington.

The Blue Claws and the Federals seem to be going in opposite directions as we head to the end of June. Washington (42-36) the winner of 4 straight and 7 of there last 10 made easy work of the falling Blue Claws (38-40). Blue Claws now losers of 4 straight and 4-6 in their last 10.

Like the night before Baltimore is blank in Washington by the same score 5-0.
Only offense from the Blue Claws were singles from Amador and McCarthy. In fact the...

You would have never imagined that Washington's SP Julio Esquivel was having his worst year statistically by the way he dismantled a struggling Blue Claw's offense. Julio, last years 20 game winner pitched a great game last night, making it look easy and going the distance.

The Blue Claws only really showed any signs of life in 2 innings, however as soon they seemingly built some momentum, Julio would shut them down.

Blue Claw's Can't Hang On , Lose by 2.

Blue Claws managed to strike early with 3 runs in top of the first, but the bats went quite and the pitching couldn't hold on, as Washington gets a come from behind win 5-3.

The come from behind was complete when Blue Claw's pitcher Pedro Ramirez gave up a 2 run blast to Catcher Kurt Booth.
Pedro still seems to be shaking off some rust after his DL stint, hanging a curveball right in Booth's wheel house and Booth didn't disappoint.

Washington is 39-36 overall and 5-5 in their last 10.

Here's the All-Star box score. Blue Claws do good and bad. McCarthy gets two hits, but Jose Garza gets saddled with the loss, giving up three hits.

Game MVP: Garibay gets the award with an unlikely Home Run in the 7th to help seal the deal against the Eastern squad.
