Another exciting win in extra innings extends our streak to 6. Bethalto must really be kicking themselves over this one. They tied the game up 6-6 in the 9th and had men on 2nd and 3rd with no outs, but couldn't get the winning run across. In the 10th, SS Chris Merrill drove in the winning runs for us with a 2-run single with the bases loaded and one out.

We took a big lead early and led all the way, but Bethalto made it interesting with a 5-run 7th. Our offense continues to roll. Of our 13 hits tonight, 9 of them were for extra bases (8 doubles, 1 HR). Nearly everyone contributed, but CF Craig Clark had the biggest day for us going 3-for-4 with a HR. We've now got a 5 game win streak.

We completed our first 3-game sweep of the year. For the 2nd night in a row we blew the game open by putting up 5 runs in the 5th. LF Riley Gram led our offense, going 2-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI. If only we could hit like this all the time. SP Kevin Wright took the mound for us today and pitched a good game (8 IP, 3 ER) for the win.

It's nice to get some offense once in a while. We sent 10 to the plate in the 5th and blew the game open. SP Stuart Douglas was on the ropes early but limited the damage (7 IP, 2 ER, but 12 H). He also led off our rally in the 5th with a solo HR. 1B Steven Lewis also had a 2-run shot in the 5th. Overall, it was a team effort: 5 different players had RBIs in this one.
