Premise: It is the year 2374, two hundred fifty nine years after the human race was finally conquered by the warmongering Bylex.

The war had lasted five decades and decimated much of humanity. An estimated 539 million humans remain, far fewer than the 12 billion who had populated Earth...

I conceived a grand, ambitious science fiction mod for OOTP 11. Then, when I realized how much work was entailed, and before I began a single bit of work, I scaled back the idea.

The original idea: Thousands of years in the future, humankind has been enslaved by a warmongering alien race, the Bylex, who have also defeated two other races.

Through the human, the Bylex discovered baseball and learned the game. Each year, the ruling Bylexian families hold a baseball tournament,...

I noticed the OOTP forums have this (little used) blog feature. I've decided to blog my efforts to create a science fiction-themed dynasty league for OOTP 11.

This will involve a lot of modding, about which I know little. Perhaps my diary will be of help to other OOTP modding newcomers.
