Now was that necessary, about Clemens. I mean don't get me wrong I hate the Yankees and the Mets but did we really need to use that kind of language?

YP, don't worry Clemens will win 20 this year and win another Cy Young....my prediction....and I'm never wrong....except for all those times.

I dont think Clemens is gonna win 20. I mean 20 wins is alot of wins. I dont care how good you are, its rare to pick up a win past the 18th. I mean consider Pedros last Cy Young season, the man had an ERA of like 1.70 and "only" won 18 games. Granted the Red Sox offense was terrible and didnt help him BUT also we must remember that Clemens benefitted from like 10 runs a game...ok so it wasnt that many but it was 2nd or tops in the league. That happening again is so unlikely. I predict he will win around 15 and lose under 10 but it will be close like maybe 8 losses or so. He will def. come back next year and pitch one last season to pick up that 300th win...and dont think the Yanks wont let him come back. George and Torre have this thing about a respect and honor for players reaching a mark. Its why they kept Gooden and Cone past their good years. And a reason why they have Wells right now. If Jeter was 42 years old, hit only .230 the year before but only needed 50 or so hits to reach 4,000 in his career, trust me he'll be in a Yankee uniform to do it.

I would like to apologize for using bad language. I just get way to pumped up for baseball. Especially when it comes down to hating the Yankees.
Sorry |

Yankees are 0-1. The dream of 0-162 is still alive!
Clemens probably won't win 20 this year, although I definitely expect him to get in double digits. Assuming no major injuries, he should hit win #300 next year (except in OOTP4, where he keeps retiring after the 2002 season )
