Post Looks great

This looks like the game I have been searching for, but just read the game does not come with real life players.
In the same thread it was mentioned that "quality" rosters are usually available soon after release......

Does quality mean RL? And Where do you get them? There are some Prima Donnas (RL) I would love to slap around..... (A-Rod, you listening? LOL) Plus also in other "sim" games that I tried to capture my interest, there were people I courted (trades) cause I always wondered how would Griffy help St. Louis or soemtheing along those lines. I will NEVER forget the day that I tried playing Madden 90 something as a front office game, and found out that ANY trade was accepted by other teams. I traded some scrub for Emmit Smith and it was accepted... Never looked back at that series...
The best trade model I can remember was from Front Page Sport Baseball 96 I think. Sierra I believe.
This game looks OUTRAGEOUS.....

The quality roster sets are indeed real life players and they will be available very soon after release. (Once the roster creators can get their grubby little paws *Just Kidding guys* on the game)

Additionally with the Lahman database you can import real players from any year of baseball history.

BTW The Trade AI has been worked on and looked at during the testing of this game, so you shouldn't be able to pull off a Griffey for Joe Sixpack deal.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the fast reply....

I see you own a sim Team...

DO you prefer that to Real Life Guys?

I understand that in 10 or so sim seasons all the RLers would be gone anyway.... So I was wondering....

As yet I am still unsure I'll be doing the TotalMinors set for OOTP, though I am having some talks with Pierre about the editor that would help me. I know that if I don't do a set, Rolen will do one as well as a few others who do some nice work.
I detailed the features of my set in another thread the other day. Hopefully, this weekend or early next week I'll have a better idea of exactly what I'm doing.
