Fatigued Players
If your best player is tired, is it best to take him out for a couple games, or would moving him to be the DH be just as sufficient?

Sit him for a day or two if you can help it.

He won't "rest" at DH.

I've also found that he may not rest if he pinch hits either (which I'm not sure is realistic)

I haven't seen that DD, to me it seems like he rests but at a lessor rate.
My LF got tired last Sept. so I sat him for a game, then brought him in as a PH, the next day he was fine.... but the day after that he was tired again... That's anecdotally how I came to that conclusion... is it valid.... I don't know... not much of a test set.. |

I have had instances where a guy ph, and he seemed ok. I had another instance of a player, who must have been fatigued for a LONG time before I noticed it (another issue I have with the game, btw). he rested, but ph, and his fatigue didn't go away. did it for a second game, same thing. then, he still took 2 or 3 games of rest to get back to normal, so maybe he still was losing fatigue in the games he ph, but just had a long way to go.

I always make sure that each position player has a utility guy (or guys) set to pick up a small percentage of games for him. No backup and your primary player will get tired. Another problem for me since I tinker with the lineup alot is sometimes I mistakenly put the backup player in at another positon so he isn't around to provide a rest for the primary. Oops!

so, while simming, if you have a backup listed, no matter the %, the computer will always sub him in when the starter is fatigued correct? guess i should monitor this and see if it is the case...
