The main newspaper updates at least once a week, but it generally does not update each day.

And, as Scott said, it will always update on Monday because that's when Player of the Week awards are given out.

I read in news that JD Drew was injured and out for 5 weeks yet two days later, there he was playing. Broken rib even. What gives? Bug? Glitch?
He continued to play from begining of news article and beyond 5 weeks.

I would like to see something implemented, that wouldn't allow the next game to be played if an injured (red colored) player is on an active roster, especially if he is in a starting position. The "team trainer" (once he's created, of course) could send an email, and a pop-up would occur if you ignore/don't get the message.
Something could be said for the day-to-day (orange) players, but it would still allow the next game to be played.
