What stadium packs are you using?
I'm trying to find a stadium pack to work with my fictional league that I imported from STB to OOTP4. I've tried a couple packs already but the problem I'm having is the stadium graphic is taking up the whole ootp4 play screen and cutting off parts of the lineup screen that shows up on the lefthand side of the screen. It may be that i have to edit whatever stadium photos I try--not sure--but I've seen mention on the posts of different people using the stadium pics successfully but no mention of whether they had to edit to get to work.
Anyway, just looking for some suggestions and maybe the best way to go about adding stadium picks. |

Today I took time to try to customize a new fictional league that I'm getting ready to launch, and this might help.
I downloaded the Waugh (sp) stadiums from the Big City Basebasll site that has a link from the ootp4 page. I checked the size to make sure that it was the same as the defualt stadium pictures, and it is, the picture has to be 640 by 480 pixels. You can use a program like Paint Shop Pro to resize pictures to fit this. One problem that I found was that the Waugh stadiums (at least the oldtime and fictional) use solid black (0,0,0) on the pictures, OOPT uses this as a transparncy color, to the pictures didnt look good, however again using Paint Shop I was able to use the replacer brush and replace all solid black 0,0,0 with a close color like 5,5,5, and then they worked fine.

The other option is to replace the background color (bc##.bmp) with bc1.bmp (black) and then you should be alright, since you will have no set the background to black and transparency in the stadium image will show up as black anyway (seeing through to the plain black background).

I also had to go thru the painstaking process of moving the fielders and runners so they lined up properly, since there is no DAT file ready quite yet. But I love the work that J. Henry put into these, so reworking them is no big deal. I love Metropolitan and Palisades Parks!

all i did was start a new lg with the regular ootp4 setup, copied the info down about the stadiums that were in there(fielders position,etc..),then put that info in for fro's stadiums!...works like a charm

Another way to get the transparent black out is to ever-so-slightly brighten the picture. Worked for me.
