DH issue
okay, remember that game OOTP3?
well, I noticed today that the Texas Rangers in my quasi-fictional league are using the DH; except that in my league they are in the non-DH NL. None of the other NL teams are using the DH, and all the AL teams seem to be using it properly. Anyone come across this before, and, more importantly, anyone know how to fix it?

Were they playing an AL team at home or away? Wouldn't they use the DH if the played an AL team away?

Yup, this was an old problem when you relocated teams.
It has been fixed in OOTP4. Not positive that this will work, but I think theres a really good chance that it will. Open Pierre's editor, open Texas and look at the team screen. There should be a box that says uses DH, set this to the proper position (unchecked for the NL) and you should be alright.... Good Luck. Hopefully this works. |

I don't know of a fix, but it happened to me a couple of times. Seems to happen when you start restructuring your leagues. The AI still thinks they are in another league. Usually my news articles read. So-and-so wins AL Batter of the Month. Then So-and-so wins AL Batter of the Month. Except the second one plays in the NL.

You can also fix it in version 3 by going to the league setup screen and turning on/off (depending on the league) and then back to where you want it. It acts as a "refresher" and eliminates this problem.
