What do you mean by sorta on the international scouting? also what is the system used for rookies? is it 5 seasons after their first ab or ip, or do they have to lose their rookie status first this time?

I mean that now within the game the players often have their national origin on their card which gives you an idea of where they came from.

Easy enough to make a trade for a player only to turn around and trade him to another team for someonelse.

In the majors a 3 way deal is actually a series of two team deals with one team as a pivot.

For example last years KC-Oak-TB trade.

Oakland traded Ben Grieve to Tampa for Roberto Hernandez.
Oakland then traded Roberto Hernandez to Kansas City for Johnny Damon.

Oakland was the pivot and the trade is phrased a three way deal, but in reality it is a series of two team deals.

What do you mean by the system for rookies? The contracts are automatic 5 years after they begin their major league service time (which is about as accurate as you can get without counting the days each team is on the roster). Rookie of the Year eligibility is not gone after the first AB.

Hope this helps a little bit.
