releasing a coach
What happens to the salary of the coach?Do I get that money back or do I eat the contract?

Generally, when you release a player or coach before the end of their contract, you eat the remainder of the contract and have to cough up the dough. If you release after the contract expires, then you don't pay anything.

If you don't want to take the cash hit simply turn off financials before you release the coach.
