Due to the holiday season, the SLCBA took a break from simming, but returns tonight with regularly scheduled sims.
As a result of the break, teams played 6 games last week.
After 32 games of a 100 game season, division races still remain tight.
Maine, behind some surprising pitching, leads in the Atlantic Division with Massachusetts 3 games out and playing unexpectedly well.
In the Southern Division, Virginia has been on a tear and is the 3rd team to lead that division this year, while defending crown holder Georgia has been on the move the past 2 weeks.
The Western Division appears to be going the way of last season's Pacific Division, with no team breaking the .500 mark. All teams in the division with the exception of Iowa has shared a piece of the division lead at one point this season.
Nebraska has its power guys healthy at the moment and they lead the Plains Division by 3 games over Kansas despite the Raiders end of April surge. Last season's division champ, Texas, is having major issues this year.
The Mountain Division is once again the best in baseball, with 3 teams vying for the number 1 spot on most days while holding 3 of the top record spots in the whole league. I love Montana's team!
Defending SLCBA champ California has opened up an early 4 game lead on Arizona as they are the only team playing above .500 in the Pacific Division. Some are saying that California has a better team this year than they did in 2011...but it all ain't over!
