Trading questions

I have a question on how the trading will turn out. In madden you can only trade 3 pieces at a time so i'm wondering if that will be the case here. Take your time as I understand something happened to Francis and he may not be able to answer questions.

The reason Madden only allows three pieces at a time in trades is to keep people from fleecing the AI. In the early days of Madden you could trade a couple garbage players for pretty much any superstar. It stuck.

Trading and financials AI is the hardest thing to work in a sports game. Different companies use different ways to deal with it. I'd think the trading in BTS is going to be similar to OOTP.

My understanding is that, yes, trading will probably function similar to OOTP. More news when we have it.

There is a thread for questions like these. But yes, I assume so, as all OOTP games are available for PC, Mac, and Linux.

My expectation is that the MacBook Air will be able to run the game. AFAIK, it can run OOTP.

Thought I'd ask this here:

How many years in the future will you be able to trade future draft picks. I think in the NFL you can trade 2-3 years' in the future. Like as soon as the new league year began back in March you could trade, I think, picks from 2015, 2016, and 2017 (could be wrong). Now I think teams are limited to trading picks from the 2016 and 2017 NFL drafts. Will this be the case in BTS, where we go to the drop-down menu when making a trade and it would look like this:

2016 First
2016 Second
2016 Third
2016 Fourth
2016 Fifth
2016 Sixth
2016 Seventh
2017 First
2017 Second
2017 Third
2017 Fourth
2017 Fifth
2017 Sixth
2017 Seventh

Will there be an option to trade for conditional picks or picks to be named later, etc?

Francis is still recovering, so there won't be an official comment in this thread for a while. Thanks.

Are you asking that I/we stop trying to post what we remember him saying in the past if the question has already been asked?

Thanks for clarifying,
Noah

You don't have to guess what he said just look at his post history.

No, I was simply noting that he won't be available to respond to anything for quite a while, so no one wonders why there hasn't been an official response to the question. If you already know his situation, then it's more about new people who might hear about the game and come over here to see what's going on with it.

I don't want anyone to assume we've abandoned it, which we haven't. Thanks.
