This should be in the Cards & Memoribilia section, where it can get +1s. Of course, no one would see it there, but in theory it could get +1s.

$400 for a baseball card of a guy who's played 20 games and hasn't even hit his first ML homerun yet? I guess I could just shorten that by saying $400 for a baseball card?

I guess it's true what they say about a fool and his money.

Damn! Lucky fluffster!

Reminds me of the time I pulled a Jordan Refractor Mystery card.

Sold it for 400 bucks at a card show...those were the days.

It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you.

Dola

Nevermind, I dug this up on him:

Quote:
Zimmerman really came on last spring as a sophomore, hitting .361 for the surprising Caveliers. He followed that up with an impressive showing with Team USA leading the team with a .468 batting average and 12 doubles, while tieing the team lead with 4 home runs. Zimmerman's best tool might be his defense, as he is considered Gold Glove caliber at the hot corner with good, quick movements, soft hands a very strong arm. While he's not a flashy player, he should be very steady in the mold of a Jeff Cirillo.
$400+ on a Jeff Cirillo clone seems a bit much to me

Double Dola

Then I came up with this, and it made me remind myself to remember this name in the future !

Quote:
Preseason 2005: Named a Second Team Preseason All-American by Baseball America ... Selected a Second Team Preseason All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) ... Named a Third Team Preseason All-American by Collegiate Baseball ... Named USA Baseball's Athlete of the Year ... Named First Team All-ACC and was named the ACC Preseason Hitter of the Year by SEBaseball.com ... Selected to Baseball America's 2004 First Team Summer League All-America Team ... Guided Team USA to a gold medal finish and earned tournament MVP honors in the FIFU II World University Games while winning the team Triple Crown en route to setting the US National Team single-season records for batting average (.468).
Almost like Gload
