FPS 98 was an incredible baseball simulation engine. OOTP gives you a world more stats and GM tools, but as far as ratings->stats and customization of the game engine, phew, crazy.

I actually installed Oldtime Baseball on my laptop when Curt Gowdy died. Keran's utilities are no where to be found anymore.

It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you.

Probably because he doesn't play them any more and wants to make a few bucks off of them.

Sub and I are the master of spam on this forum. But on-topic so I don't get another warning.

Any price yet?

When it no longer worked (lousy Windows XP non-compatibility), that's how I found OOTP. I think I'd still enjoy playing it, but don't know how much time it'd get.

Yeah, I found OOTP when I realized that FPS no longer existed.

I ran a search on IGN or something for simulation baseball games, found this site, got the game, joined the forum, and over a year later here I am talking to Sublimity. Not quite as heart-warming as meeting on matchmakers.com or something, but our story is special in my heart. :swoon:
