I've had quite enough. OOTPBB 2006 for sale--$25

A money order for $25 gets you both licenses and I can get this...game...off my machine. Any takers?

Adding on to my post on the other licensing thread: I am pretty certain that the agreement for this game does expressly forbid this sort of thing. Besides, SI traditionally gives a money back promise. Why don't you contact someone else instead of trying to harm a good company on their own board?

Considering that EB and Gamestop and .... fill in the blank...do this all the time...

If I can't sell the game I'm just going to do a chargeback on my CC. I think they'd rather I sell it.

Doesn't really matter what they do the fact is you agreed to the licensing agreement when purchasing the game and the license agreement forbids it.

Not that it matters, but it is ridiculous that the licensing agreement says you can't sell something you own after you legally buy it...

weird - i went thru the bbcf for sale thread and didn't see one person complain about it......

SI has their money from the original poster and perhaps the person buying it for $25 wouldn't step up at the original $35 price (that may sound unrealstic but that's the reason they always drop the price after it's been out for a while).

just my .02

Or he could just be getting people sending him $25 and never sending them the license. (Can of worms, now open :-D)

The agreement sets out the terms of what you do and do not own. this is no different than any other kind of contract. You are not getting an implied contract such as when you buy goods or services at teh store, you are getting an express license--you only have the rights the intellectual property owner grants you. If you don't agree to them, you don't pay for the game. you may think the law is BS, but it's still the law. IMHO it's a good one, as software developers work harder than you could ever imagine (my brother in law is one) and deserve to be compensated for thei efforts.
