home plate from angels stadium

ok my grandfather did the crane work on the remodelling of "the big A" back in the late 90's and he gave me home plate from it...the trouble is i cant figure out how much its worth or anything about it, i've googled the hell out of it and havent found any info...if anyone could help me out i would appreciate it!!! How would you even prove its authentic? And the 90's remodeling was the 2nd major remodeling of the park..the 1st to accomodate the Rams.

I wish I could find the picture taken a couple of years ago of a Conference Match at which Leigh RMI were the away team. There was a photograph of the away terrace and visible were one steward and one supporter. And that was probably one of their biggest days for travelling support.

Thats not far from an home game as well, Wigan Athletic played years ago away and the coach with the Latics fans was late so no Latics fans in the away end coming up to kick off all apart from 1 who had gone by car, by all accounts home fans (forget who) bombarded him with songs of "Billy no mates" and "whats it like to have no friends", in the end they actually cheered him because he started singing "you are my sunshine" one of the Latics songs and "come and have a go if you think your hard enough".

I miss supporting Wigan in the lower leagues as far more interesting being in the lower leagues for banter and stories and such, too many corporate people in the Premiership.
