Free classic games for anyone that can come get them

Pasadena, CA area

APBA 1984 card set
2 Statis-Pro baseball games (one says 1979 season on the box)
2 Statis-Pro basketball games
Slapshot

Some others, I'll list them later. Just got frustrated with having to get rid of things and threw away several hundred floppies that had games of every type on them. Trying to clean up back bedroom so I can't hold on to them much longer.

Did you ever find that tabletop Title Bout ? I know you werent sure if you still had it or not.

Of course, going to CA from NY for the game could get tricky if you find it

It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you.

OK, here's the list of what was out in the boxes in the back of my car...

Computer Game
Earl Weaver II

Board Games
1984 APBA card set
Sports Illustrated Pennant Race
SI Slapshot
78-79 Statis-Pro Basketball
77-78 Statis-Pro Basketball
Avalon Hill Baseball Strategy
79 Statis-Pro Baseball
80 Statis-Pro Football
SI Bowl Bound

Also, about 10 to 15 LPs. Bowl Bound is something I will probably keep. As for Title Bout, I bet I still have it but it's either in storage (Derrel's) in Bakersfield or in my dad's garage somewhere. He and my mom kept a lot of things I didn't know they had.

What do you figure it would cost to ship the Statis Pro Baseball and Basketball games DHL Ground? Actually i can find out if you can tell how much they weight. I might be able to send you a check to ship them.

As mentioned, it's free to anyone that can pick them up in the next 10 days or so otherwise I'm tossing them along with all the other stuff I've cleaned out. If I wanted to ship them, I'd probably make an entry on eBay.

While I understand Pion's dilemma, it really seems a shame that he has to throw out all those great tabletop games.

Too bad someone doesn't live close to him and offer to take them for him and ebay them or sell them to people here that would love them. Nice collection Pion. If I lived closer I would come over and get the whole collection and give you half of whatever was ebay sold and sold to fans here.

Really hate hearing all those are going to the dumpster, but I understand your side of the problem too. Good luck man. I hope it works out for you.

With the people that do live in this area, I was hoping someone could take it off my hands which is why I posted. Even if they don't want it for themselves, they could at least maybe take them and sell them. As for me, I have an inspection in two weeks and half the stuff I own (and no longer use) is destined for the dumpster, salvation army, friends/family that may want it. But I've only got until a week from Friday (June 15th).

No interest even if i were to cover the cost to ship them? How far from Anaheim Hills are you. My sister in law lives there maybe i could have her meet you to take the whole lot off your hands. I collect Statis Pro games so i would hate to see you just dispose of them.

The whole reason for them being free was to avoid having to ship. Anaheim Hills is 28 miles approx.

Man, it's been a long time since I played that.

I cringe when I think about it, but I have thrown out so many old Avalon Hill games:

Slapshot
Decathalon
Circus Maximus
Statis Pro Football
Statis Pro Baseball
SI Auto Racing
Win Place Show
SI Pro Golf
A tennis game that I can't recall the name of
Et cetera

Uughhh!

The only one that I kept was Title Bout

Success! The games were saved from a trip to the dumpster. GoCubGo had someone local pick them up from me today and they'll be shipped out by them.
