Anybody want to buy the 360 version of NCAA 2008 College Football?

I rented it for PS3 and am I ever glad. Not a big fan. The game itself is deep and immersive, but the gameplay is just awful. It doesn't feel like football the way that Madden does.

Sometimes I really like it and other times I hate it more than any version I've ever played. *shrug* Too up and down for me to enjoy it the way it should be enjoyed.

Too many dropped passes. In dynasty mode, you'll get a 3-9 Oklahoma State or Ole Miss team playing in a new years day game. I've counted 12 sub .500 teams in bowls at one point.

The way I play it, yes.

I just mean, the guys move like they do in real life, I didn't get that feel with NCAA.

Well, 2k8 is already out and you'd really need to compare it to this year's Madden, which I'm sure I'll like more than 2k8 for some reason.

2k5 is still better than Madden 07, and there is no reason to believe that EA will finally make a decent football game after releasing the same game 3 years straight with just updated rosters.

This is the best football game I've ever played. The game plays like real football, and is not arcade-ish like Madden. If players are dropping balls, raise the catch slider. Personally, I've seen maybe two easy drops in 20+ games, so that's not an issue for me.

If you like the air it out, run around freely style of Madden it's not for you.

Exactly. I am going to buy Madden for the PS2, and I'll get 2k8 as well (and NCAA if I get a PS3)
