Anyone Want to Buy OOTP 2007 Mac Version?

We've decided to see our Apple computer. SO I am looking to sell my copy of OOTP for it. $30 or best offer.

Drop a line here if interested and I will contact you and discuss details

Think about it, when you buy fruit, do you buy a whole apple or do you buy an apple with a bite taken out of it?

That logo never made sense to me, but then again, Pringle Potato chips amaze me.

It's about the enlightenment achieved after partaking of the Apple. Apparently Apujols5 never took that final step.

I don't like any computer that I can't easily add the newest technology to

Huh?

Funny...easy integration of the newest technologies was one of the main reasons why I bought a Mac this year. Of course, having a much more reliable operating system and putting the whole computer inside my screen were big selling points too. Now if I can only get that "maroon", (as Bugs Bunny used to say) Steven Jobs to free up the software development...

the last thing I would want is my computer inside my monitor. Where's your room to work when swapping out parts? How easy can you run a Nvidia SLI on a Apple? or have 6 TBs of storage? or have a Blu-Ray/HD Dvd combo drive?

That's true boss. If I want mega storage or if I want to use additional drives I have to do it peripherally. Depending on how many "add-ons" I want, I could eventually consume as much physical space as a PC. The only reason for my initial response to your post was you had me worried for a second about my Mac's ability to run new devices. As far as I've been able to determine, I can run anything without much installation fuss. But in any event, the PC's I had served me well too. (Although, I wish I had dropped Microsoft Windows for Linux, or almost any other operating sysytem.)

I don't get everyone's desire to knock windows. With some basic tweaks, Vista is a very good OS.

You can run Vista and the latest version of OS X on your Macintosh

Though I've been using Vista for a couple of days on my new laptop and I'm not a fan of it whatsoever. I'm thinking about downgrading to XP.

Yeah - I'm running Boot Camp with XP (willingly), after being on Vista for a few months. It's much less of a bloatware.

Vista is terrible. Windows is terrible. If you are more comfortable using it, by all means, do so. But it certainly is not because it is better.

I've been working with Mac OS X for about a month now, and I am very underwhelmed. While I agree that for extremely basic tasks, such as web navigation, photo taking and so on, OS X is indeed user-friendly, it's not amazingly great. The greatest issue I have is the lack of customization potential of OS X, not just because there's very little software, but because everything seems to be so hard-coded. The other main issue I have with Mac OS X is Finder, which, while it never crashes, does not have anything over Windows Explorer. In fact, it's quite impractical. You can't cut elements (I can't find a good reason why it would be that way), you can't preview more than 90 or so pictures at a time (which greatly annoys me), you have to press a two-button combination to open a file instead of a single one, file selection with the keyboard is counter-intuitive and basically unusable, file path is not easily shown, I haven't found a way to put subfolders at the top of a list of elements (but that might be just me), etc. Finder is a horrible piece of software that's far inferior to Windows Explorer. And, given that a lot of time is spent in Finder, I find that majorly annoying. If not for that, OS X could be much better than XP, but right now I can't see myself giving it an edge. I've also discarded Safari for Firefox.
