Old scorecard

I just came into a box of major and minor league scorecards from the 1940s to 2005. Some are in great condition even the older ones.

Would those even be worth anything?

Their value is in the eye of the beholder, like anything else.

Exactly, people are willing to buy what they like. Some of the stuff is old yearbooks too.

Retrosheet might be interested in them.

Scorecards/Programs themselves are valuable if (1) they are unmarked and in a good condition over 30 years old or (2) scored and dated with a memorable game such as a no hitter or debut of a great player or hall of famer or a minor league game of a hall of fame type player..... otherwise scorecards themselves do not have a high value. The best bet is to sell them on e-bay as a collection for the scorecards that do not meet 1 or 2 above and then sell the ones that meet the requirements of 1 or 2 individually.

Yearbooks are another story. Defunct teams, minor league yearbooks that are over 30 years old have value, but the market for these is small. These could be sold on e-bay individually and you can let the market determine the actual selling price.....
