Recently we've had someone trying to buy one of the two license rights you get with the game. This is against the EULA and the moderators will not allow it. If someone posts or PMs you asking for this, we'd appreciate it if you'd report it right away. Once verified, people who ask for this will be banned immediately.

We used to get the right to play the game on 3 computers, but because of people like this the company decided to decrease it to 2. We haven't heard that the company is considering limiting it to 1, but we'd like to make sure that they have as little reason to do that as possible.

To clarify, while we will still allow people to post that they're looking to sell all their license rights to one person (please register the transaction with the licensor to ensure that they will stay yours), we will not allow posts or PMs to sell only some of the license rights nor will we allow posts or PMs to buy any or all license rights.

Thank you for your cooperation. As most of you probably already know, OOTP is a small company and cannot afford piracy of any kind. If you appreciate the game, please help us support it.

EDIT: If you got a PM from a clemonte, thanks, but you don't need to report it as he's already been banned. If you get one of the same nature from someone else, though, please do use the PM report feature.

I received a question via PM that I'd like to tack the answer on to here..

If for some reason you want to use the game on another computer, but you've already licensed it on two other computers, you can still license it on another computer. You do not have to re-buy the game. If you can't unlicense it from one of the old computers yourself (e.g. the harddrive crashed), then you can contact elicense or PISD, or whoever the licensor is for the version you purchased, and ask them to unlicense the game on their end. You'll then be free to re-license the game on whatever computers you want to play the game on. It might take a few days to hear back from the licensor, but they're usually quite fast at responding so it shouldn't take long.
