Basketball cards .. which brand to focus on?

I'll be getting back into buying Basketball cards for the first time since Shaq was a rookie (I have 3-4 of his rookie cards thanks to that blitz). Since I've been out of the loop for so long, which brand should I focus on?

Thanks

Question to fiance -- How much do you love me?

Answer -- So much that we can get our legs tied together, walking 3 legged for the rest of our lives and I'd love it.

IMO the safest bet is the Topps Chrome line. A little more pricey, but well worth the investment. I know alot of people like the SPx, and some of the other sets that have serial numbered rookies. I never got into that because I cannot see paying $50 for a T. Lue rookie card. But all in all, I would take a look at what line catches your eye, and thats the one I would collect.
