old SI's

Since I'm kinda on the subject in my other post, my dad has given me a lot of old Sports Illustraded's. They're from the 50s,60s,70s, etc. He wished he could've found more baseball ones for me, but he gave me all he had.

I have 2 questions: If they're in very good condition, how much might they be worth (and is there a market for this). Second, could I sell some that are slightly damaged? He has a few damaged ones from the Packers Super Bowls in the 60s. I wonder if someone might like them even though there's some damage.

They are usually only worth something to someone who collects the player pictured on the cover. Good luck getting more than a couple bucks each for them on ebay except for the first issue and a few coveted issues. That is assuming they are in good condition. If they have tears, folds, address labels and such, they may be worthless.
