I have found a baseball bat and would like to know its age.It says hillerich$bradsby co. safe hit no#15 Thank you Steve

A little history behind Hillerich & Bradsby can be found here . I'll search a little more for you in the morning when I get into work.

If you could post a picture, it may be a little easier in finding out it's age.

I called Louisville Slugger and they gave me an appraiser's phone # 847-816-6847. He had said that the safe hit # 15 were there cheapest bats made. He had asked for the players name on the bat, which I didn't know. He said Babe Ruth's would run around $100. He really couldn't give a date on the bat, he would need to know who's name is on it.
