BZ 1718: Leave Game Error..?

During my first season after i manage a game after june 20th, when I press the leave game button to return to the game, the game automatically closes...?
any1 help??

Has this happened more than once?

What happens if you don't play out your game and simply sim ahead one day?

I had this happen to me on the Trade Deadline. Could be the same thing as I clicked "Leave Game"?

i restarted a new game same thing happened.. simmed to after the draft started playing a game then pressed leave game and it crashed again..
its happens over and over every time around the 20th of june.

i get a message saying an error with ootp9.exe

Which operating system are you using, and how much RAM and available hard drive space does your computer have?

I'm having the same problem. Can sim the game and continue but can no longer manage a game without the crash occurring at "Leave Game".

i'm having this problem too. Managed every game in the season up until the June 20th and now it crashes every time i go to leave game.

Not to pile on or anything, but I'm having the same problem. Any ideas? If it helps, I also added a ballpark pictures pack, logos pack, and player picture packs.

Same problem here. Started a manager mode in Rookie ball, and haven't been able to Leave Game at the end.

it's basically shut down my playing of the game until it gets fixed!

I have the exact same issue. After the rookie draft I simmed for a week or so...then I went back in to play a game, and it crashes after the game when clicking on LEAVE GAME. I've tried to sim again (which works) to another game and then try it but any game now crashes upon LEAVE GAME. You can even go into the Start Game, then sim to the end of the game, and then click LEAVE GAME and it crashes (info for developers when troubleshooting so you don't have to play every inning.)

I have uninstalled/reinstalled the program - importing the database from a backup. It still doesn't work.
I have tried another database (new game) and that one works fine. It appears that the issue is with the database becoming corrupt in some way.

It has to do something with the draft!
after i changed the draft date i played a whole season until it stalled!

After playing out 50 games, my game crashes on leaving the 51st.

OOTP9+patch, WinXP, started New 2008 Major League Game.
I have the saved game dat files zipped and can FTP them to you if you wish.
If the crash is a program fault, you should be able to replicate as follows:

1. From the initial menu, select Continue Game (mlb2008-02).
2. From the Manager menu select Play Game (Boston -Oakland).
3. Give control of all Boston Controls to AI manager (Francona).
4. Start Game.
5. Quick-Play GAME = CRASH.

or

2. From Manager menu select Play games from the league schedule.
3. Manage Boston-Oakland game.
4. Give control of all Boston Controls to AI manager (Francona).
5. Start Game.
6. Play out game (I did this initially) or Quick-Play GAME. This gets the BOX Score.
7. Leave Game = CRASH.
