What is this field

I'm playing with a csv dump... I'm looking at players career batting stats (or career pitching stats) there's a field split id. Makes sense that this might be left/right/total for number 1/2/3 but I have a lot of number 21s. What is 21?

Also the position field, what is 0? Is that DH?

I knew there was another one...

In the league leaders csv... is that keeping track of only ML level? Apparently, so 0 is like the NL, 1 is the AL?

no one is going to help you here, as i havent gotten any myself...

the split_id from what i have gathered is:

1 = total stats for the year
2 = vs L
3 = vs R
21 = postseason stats

for league leaders in regards to sub_league_id:

0 = AL
1 = NL

we should try to help each other

Thank ya Zubes, I didn't even think of postseason.

I'm an idiot on the 0... every one shows 0 there.
There is position 10 in the fielding stats that's obviously the DH.

I'm happy to help with anything I can, but I rarely come into this section. Just trying to come up with a HOF stat I can look at right now and ran into those questions.

0,1 is not really AL/NL, but instead you have to look up in the sub_leagues file and see what it is.

in a basic ML setup though, it is, and i assumed that is what he had.
