AULogoPro

I did not want to forget the fictional people, so I have designed this program.

It is still being written, but here is a sneak preview.

You go to Padres fine website and download all of the fictional logos you want. You create a logo folder, such as Y:\LOGOS

Then you put sub folders for each of the logo packs out there.

So, you will have a layout like follows:

y:\logos\cephasjames Logos
y:\logos\mlb_all
y:\logos\my personal

This can be located on any drive. You can have as many sub folders as you like.

Load my program, point it to the logo folder, pick your league. Then you can click on a team and see the current logo. Enter a search string, like 'TIGERS" and click search. Seconds later you have all of the logos that contain the word TIGERS in it's name. Click on the one you like and it is added to your league.

(Automated features to come)

Here is a screen shot:

It is ready for 1st release...

http://www.planetootp.com/aulogopro/

Use IE to install.

Create a folder, anywhere, called LOGOS or something. Unzip your favorite logo collection into this folder using sub folder names. Visit Padres site to get some great logos.

Run my program, point it at the logo folder, point it at your league.

Click a team on the left and it will display that teams current logo in the top left hand logo spot. Click on TEAM NAME or TEAM NICKNAME and it will populate the search window with which ever you clicked on. Click SEARCH and it will display all the matches. Click the NEXT button if there are more than 19 to display. WHen you see one you like, just click on it and the selected team will use that logo. It will copy and rename it correctly.

That's it.

Larry, this is a great tool. I set up a Canadian Baseball League last night and used this and had logos in place for almost 100 teams in about 10-15 minutes.

Awesome work!

Glad it is working for everyone. It will get better too!

Maverick, that is by design, removing the last S. That way you are searching for EAGLE instead of EAGLES. If you search for EAGLES, it will not find EAGLE, but if you search for EAGLE, it will find EAGLES.

Strangely enough, as soon as I posted the message, that thought did occur to me. Sorry!

Great program!

Are you using AI to launch the program?

AI?

I was in IE per the instructions on your website. I click on the install and 1/2 second later it says done, but there is nothing in my program menu?

Try downloading and unzipping this and run the setup.exe file in it.

Let me know if it works.

Would/could this great utility be applied to uniforms and caps in the same way logos can be updated yearly?
