AUHistoryDeluxe for 2007

Here is the 1st release of the program.

Please backup your history files (news\txt\players) before using the program.

Just two functions in it now, one to do a bulk change, so you can tell it to replace all of the 'SISA' to 'MLB' and it will change all occurances in the history files.

Also DELETE LINES, this will delete all lines from the history that contain the 'phrase' that you specify.

It is case senstive, so make sure that you get the case right. You can also click on a players name and see his history.

More updates to this program soon.

USE IE to install the program and after that, you can launch it from the start menu.

So I'm playing last night and one of my prized young draft picks gets his first hit in his first AB. Noteworthy event, I thought, but nothing is recorded in his history. Any chance to adapt this utility to add stuff like that (ML debut date, first ML hit, first ML HR, milestone hits like 1000th hit, etc.)?

Seeing Bobble's comment made me think back to your fine AUHistory2 for OOTP 2006. I can't get it to work with 2007. Any chance you can incorporate some of the same functionality from AUHistory2 into AUHistoryDeluxe 2007? I loved the option to insert random events.

Also, was it AUHistory2 that allowed for insertion of walk-off home runs?? That was great.

Your work is appreciated.

Bobble, good suggestion, I will look at it in the near future and see if I can add that. May not be easy, but who knows.

AUHistory2 will not work for 2007, but maybe I can convert it to work. Some of the fields in the CSV files have changed.

Busy week, so maybe next week.
